EQ2082 is a 2.5 tonne six-wheel drive pointy diesel off-road vehicle developed by Dongfeng in the early days, which was once known as the "Meritorious Vehicle", with the light net, protective net and double fuel tanks as its features. Since it was battle-tested and recognised for its off-road capabilities, it was later civilianised.
